WYCLEF Jean and Fatboy Slim have been tapped as the main groovers at the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix post-race party on April 4. Set to be held at the Sepang Circuit, the outdoor event will also see regional and local names added to the bill.

No stranger to Malaysian shores, both rapper Wyclef and Brit dance maverick Fatboy Slim have played in Kuala Lumpur previously. They will be the crowd-pulling acts again next month and both men will be out to top the 15,000 fans that turned up at the Sepang venue to watch Jamiroquai last year.

Wyclef, renowned for his humanitarian work, has been busy helping out the earthquake victioms in his native Haiti.

The 37-year-old rapper, who made a name for himself with the multi-platinum outfit Fugees in the 1990s, has also established a solid solo career and been a prominent force in hip hop. A new album is on the cards for Wyclef, who already has solo hits like "Ghetto Religion," "We Trying To Stay Alive," "Hey Girl" and "Gone Until November" to his credit.

Hailing from Brighton, England, Fatboy Slim (real name Norman Cook) is a good bet to get the crowd into a frenzy with a career of built from big beat anthems and big party deejay notoriety.

He has worked on an eclectic spread of collaborations in recent years, including the Brighton Port Authority project and the upcoming David Byrne collaboration featuring music based on Imelda Marcos' life and times.

With a deejay set to roll, Fatboy Slim is not to be missed at Sepang next month.

The DJ will make his debut at the event after pulling out of his headline slot at this year's festival due to medical reasons.
In a statement, Fatboy Slim alluded to his withdrawal and said he was “eager for some high altitude raving”.
Other new additions to the line-up include Crookers, Skream and Caged Baby.
Ediyors, The Enemy, Doves and Friendly Fires are among the acts already on the festival bill.
Snowbombing runs from April 5-10 in the mountainous Mayrhofen region of Austria and offers a combination of live music and extreme sports.
