Nice to know I wasn’t the oldest one there then, lol. Nothing wrong with the crop of young dj’s that have hit the scene over the last few years. They are infact in there own right “Superstar DJ’s”.

I just think that we have had them around for so long now. That we as punters don’t see them in that way. However, the original ones will always remain in our eyes as “Superstar DJ’s”

I do personally think, that with more younger DJ’s, there will definatley be a return of the Superstar DJ. If Disco and 80′s Synth Pop had their revivals in the 90′s and 00′s – why not Superstar DJ’s?

how does it work, the whole show is far too synced to be performed by a touring vj, so are your sets set in stone and run off a midi timecode, or are things a little looser and certain audio tracks trigger midi synced video tracks using ableton and vj software? It is tim fleming. His company is called plastic reality. It’s all done with serato video SL. Each tune has it’s own code so I can play them in different order/speed/mix etc so I can get as loose as I want (it even plays backwards) The timecode triggering the audio files also triggers the visuals for the tunes we’ve had the time/money to make videos for and tim does rest live trying to figure out what I’m gonna play/do next! Nothing is set in stone!

The tune in the first part is called “Two Tone Simms” by Tom Starr and it’s mixed with Fatboy Slim VS Herve – Machines Can do The Work. It’s a really great tune
