Happy new year 2009!

Ok this new version of blog is always in construction, but i was obliged to update all the engine.
I decided to completly change the plateform of the blog. (yeah i know why a 31 december? well probably because when you are drunked you don’t think to the consequencies and all the problems it could generate he he..) It’s run under wordpress now. This change is for me the first step of the construction of the new generation of nc.info site. The old blog was good but completly buggy. Now you can login / register to comment in this blog and maybe later participate to the life of the blog. More features will come soon. (Let me learn & enjoy development he he ).

Sorry for the hard transition but sometimes we need to take decisions and provocate movement!
The good thing: i success to backup all databases of the old blog (and precious comments), we will have now a stable start to construct a better dynamic website.

The problem: we should meet some technical problems during few weeks (broken links.. bugs.. shity design..need to add all categories .. glups) but don’t worry, i’m sure that you are ready for the adventure…
(damn need to tag all posts and put them in new categories..)

The FATboard stay open.

Non updated since long time (probably since december 2007!) , the official FBS myspace have now a new design…for the out of The 10th Anniversary Commemorative edition of You’ve come a long way album

In add, we can listen a free stream of a live set recorded at 02 Festival 2008.. (More details about that here & here, thanks to Rory & Doxliy )

What’s new?

After a week of work: 95% of the videos are converted in flash streaming (as Google or You Tube), the result is a win of space for me + better presentation. (more 70 videos were converted!)

Some new scans of newspapers / mags should be uploaded this month of june (70 scans are already on my hard drive). My next priority: finish the gallery section (i have again 500 pics to order and i’m affraid to see that with next summer festival, i must add others lol))

I should update the biography (which was the stopped at palookaville album!). the last step should be to replace all the extracts in real format by extracts in mp3 streaming (& certainly added some). I’ll probably had extracts in “samples section”.

For those who ask me when my website will be finished = probably in september. its the final month that i decided to stop the normancook.info project (even if i have some doubts to finish it one day lol ) After September: i’ll probably kill Francisnotdead and leave the FBS scene to take others ways…. (but its already 3 months that i have to kill Francisnotdead lol).
